Known as the centre of information technology, Bangalore is the capital and tourist destination of Karnataka. This silicon valley of Karnataka is known as the third and fifth largest city in India. Built-in 1537, the city is now experiencing a different level of prosperity. When we talk about the next generation city of India, Bangalore would be the one on the top of the list. It is also called the IT capital of India. There are many well-known software and computer companies established here. Not only IT companies but EV companies like Kazam EV and E-commerce companies like Flipkart also make Bengaluru their headquarters. It is worth noting that more than 51% of Bangalore's population comes from various parts of India due to employment purposes. Compared to other cities in India, the weather in Bangalore is very pleasant. Trust me, people who come here will get lost in this weather. In particular, the weather is pleasant all year round and rain is everyone's favourite weather in Bangalore.

Bangalore is one of the cities with the major problem of air pollution. Since vehicle emissions contribute significantly to air pollution, Karnataka's energy storage campaign and policy is a great initiative to eliminate this problem. This policy aims to ensure a 100% shift towards green vehicles by 2030 in some vehicle categories (rickshaws, taxis, school buses, public transport buses, three- and four-wheel trucks, cabs, and much more). In every major city in India including Bangalore, the lack of cost infrastructure slows down the growth of EV adoption rate in India. Given the subsidy for the purchase of electric vehicles, EV policies should start including charging infrastructure benefits as well. Replacing the battery can also be a game-changer in the EV ecosystem. Battery standardization plays an important role in the "a size fits for all" theory. People should be able to place an electric vehicle battery anywhere, regardless of the manufacturer.
